Bow & Elbow River Clean-up April 30, 2011 I'm very excited to inform you that we have gotten approval for our Bow River Cleanup!! Ed from the Calgary Police Marine Unit has worked really hard to get us lots of support and prizes :) So... - Saturday April 30th and Sunday May 1st we will be doing the underwater Bow River Clean in conjunction with the City of Calgary's 44th annual pathways and parks cleanup. - All volunteers are invited to a breakfast. Fathers Day Brunch Sunday, June 19, 2011 This event is held at Forget-me-not pond. We start the day off at 11:00 am with a pancake breakfast and then everyone suits of for a fun dive in Forget-me-not pond. Free for members, $2.00 for non members. The Ron McKindsey Camping Weekend July 8-10, 2011 Spend the weekend in the Waterton National Park. We have will be reserving group camping in the Waterton Springs Campground (3km north of the Waterton Park Gates on Hwy 6). Start the day off with a pancake breakfast, then there will be 2 dives Saturday and then 1 dive on Sunday in Cameron and Emerald bays. Bring you best campfire songs since last year we put the cook house to good use! Don't forget your membership card, it is required to enter the prize draw. Event Coordinator: Sean Ferguson & Steve Peddie	Underwater Up-side down Hockey TBD - Depends on Ice Thickness Hello All. Once again a few of us plan to head out for some ice diving!! Bring your hockey stick and we'll have a game of upside down underwater ice hockey! We'll aim to be out there around 10:00am to start hauling gear down to the hole. We will either share a hole with the Aquasport class or they may cut us a new hole. 10:00am to 1:00pm Event Coordinator: Naomi Gropp

Two Jack Camping Weekend August 5-7, 2011 Spend the weekend out in the Banff National Park camping at Two Jake Main campsite - Loops 15 & 16 have been requested. We are looking to reserve an entire lop just for divers. Start the day off with a pancake breakfast, then there will be 1 to 2 dives Saturday and then a dive on Sunday, depending on air. Dive Enhancment Weekend August 5-7, 2011 Hosted by Aquasport	Banff Triathlon Saturday, September 10, 2011 The Minnewanka loop is used for our bicycle course, leaving only one lane for vehicular traffic. Our plan is to have the bikes travel in a clockwise direction, and the cars to travel anti-clockwise. There will be no (or very limited) parking available along the roadway, and though this is usually overlooked, Parks Canada will be more vigilant in their policing as it will be unsafe to have cars parked and blocking part of the roadway. There may also be delays to any vehicles that are trying to access the loop between the hours of 8:30 and 11:30am.

Dragon Boat Races August 13-14, 2011 This is intended for your information and warnings. On August 15-16 there will be Dragon Boat races on Lake Minniwanka outside the normal dive area. Of course there will be increased vehicle traffic and boat traffic around the dam area.
