St. Patty's Pub Night
March 20, 2010
R aise a pint of green beer or just sit back and get geared up for your next trip. This pub night is being held at Shanks on MacLeod. Happy hour is until 8:00pm ($4.25 highballs,beer etc)and we can book in for pool, or minigolf, or virtual golf etc at anytime.

Location Schanks at 9627 Macleod Trail S - 7:00 PM.

President's Getaway

This isn't an official outlaw event but more of a general invitation to join the President for a dive or two on Vancouver Island. Every September I go camping and dive around the Island but this year i will be canceling the trip to go to the Philippines.

April Pub Night

Time to share or just get geared up for your next trip. This pub night is focused around a gear exchange and sharing photos of your last trip. Remember to bring you gently used gear to sell and cash to pick up what you don't have.

Bow RiverClean-up
September TBD, 2010

Test your dry-suit for leaks and float the river!
Again, we are heading out with the Calgary Police to help clean-up our city rivers. We will meet at the Bowness Park on Saturday to drop in and gather items that do not belong. Sunday we will focus on the Elbow River.
Scuba gear is not required as snorkeling will be sufficient. Further details to follow in an email and on facebook.

Clean-up

We are heading out with the Calgary Police to help clean-up our city rivers as well as to help raise public awareness and prevent pollution. We will meet at the Bowness Park on Saturday to drop in and gather items that do not belong. Sunday we will focus on the Elbow River.
Scuba gear is not required as snorkeling will be sufficient. Further details to follow in an email and on facebook.

This event is held at Forget-me-not pond. We start the day off at 11:00 am with a pancake breakfast and then everyone suits of for a fun dive in Forget-me-not pond. Free for members, $2.00 for non members.

The Ron McKindsey Camping Weekend
July 10-11, 2010

Spend the weekend in the Waterton National Park. We have will be reserving group camping in the Waterton Springs Campground (3km north of the Waterton Park Gates on Hwy 6). Start the day off with a pancake breakfast, then there will be 2 dives Saturday and then 1 dive on Sunday in Cameron and Emerald bays. Bring you best campfire songs since last year we put the cook house to good use!

Don't forget your membership card, it is required to enter the prize draw.

For us nutters (Rob and Sean) who just have to get one last dive in before the season is over. This dive is a go, rain or shine or snow.

Two Jack Camping Weekend
August 7-8, 2010

Spend the weekend out in the Banff National Park camping at Two Jake Main campsite. We are looking to reserve an entire lop just for divers. Start the day off with a pancake breakfast, then there will be 1 to 2 dives Saturday and then a dive on Sunday, depending on air. Bring you best campfire songs!

Hello All. Due to problems with the venue and a Flames game on January 9 we are moving the date and location of the Christmas Party.

Dragon Boat Races
August 14-15, 2010

This is intended for your information and warnings. On August 15-16 there will be Dragon Boat races on Lake Minniwanka outside the normal dive area. Of course there will be increased vehicle traffic and boat traffic around the dam area.
